Terms of Use

These terms apply to the DotHTML app, the website dothtml.app and shared pages on dothtml.link, from Appnest Technologies LLC ("we"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you got DotHTML from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement applies too; these terms add to it.
Your pages
Pages you open, make or save in DotHTML are yours. When you share a page by link, you let us store it and show it to people who have the link, only to run DotHTML. You're responsible for what you share, and for having the right to share it.
What you may not share
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't use DotHTML to share or send pages that:
- are illegal, or help someone break the law;
- sexualize minors in any way (we report it to the authorities);
- are sexually explicit or pornographic;
- harass, threaten, bully or demean people, or promote violence or hatred against anyone;
- try to trick people (phishing, fake sign-in or payment pages), spread malware, or attack devices or services;
- reveal someone's private information without their permission;
- infringe someone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- impersonate someone, or are spam.
Reporting, blocking and removal
If a shared page breaks these terms, report it: in the app, open the page's menu and choose Report Page; in a browser, use Report this page at the bottom of it; or email [email protected] with its link. We review reports as quickly as we can, normally within 24 hours.
You decide what reaches you: Stop Updates (or deleting the page) stops a shared page from updating in your library, and you'll get nothing more from it.
We may remove a shared page, stop someone from sharing, or close an account that breaks these terms, without notice.
AI features and AI apps
Translations, answers, summaries and spoken explanations are made by AI and can be wrong. Check anything important. If you connect an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude, it can make and change pages in your DotHTML library for you; you're responsible for what you ask it to do, and you can disconnect it at any time in the app.
Your account
A DotHTML account is optional. Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what's done with your account. You can delete it at any time in the app.
DotHTML Pro
DotHTML Pro is a subscription bought through Apple. It renews automatically at the price shown unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial, if offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account's subscription settings, and Apple handles refunds. What's included, and the monthly allowances, are described in the app and may change; we'll tell you in the app before a change affects you.
The service
We work to keep DotHTML running and your pages safe, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important. We may change or end features; if we end something you pay for, we'll tell you first. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, from using DotHTML, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app. Using DotHTML after a change means you accept the new terms.
